Purrticles is a tool for designing Particle effects, that builds on Touchgram technology.

All the designs created in Purrticles are compatible with Touchgram and you will be able to copy them back and forth in Touchgram 1.3.6.
(Fun fact - all the particle effects you see running in Purrticles are actually each in a tiny one-page Touchgram. That makes it super-easy for us to have saved comments and other properties right there on the particle element).

Touchgram uses particle effects to provide feedback as you touch the screen - this became a lot easier to see in v1.3.5 which pulled the editor for feedback out to the top level. They will also be made available as page elements in a version later in 2024.

Because it uses Touchgram's document format, all the rights and permissions available to artists are also going to be made available in Purrticles. You will be able to put prices on your designs and get paid for people using them. are also going to be made available in Purrticles. For developers, Purrticles v1.0 provides export of Swift program code to use the SpriteKit game engine (on which Touchgram is based). More game engines and export of movies and other formats will be rolled out over the next few versions.

Purrticles v1.0 is only released on iOS but a Mac version works and will be made available in the near future, after a little polishing.
